Challenge / Goal
The creation of more living space is always a much heard demand. How to make living space available in an ecological and cost-effective manner is demonstrated by a pilot project by Wohnungsbau Ludwigsburg (WBL). It is titled CUBE 11. The concept is of "prefabricated wooden cubes". The main goals of CUBE 11 are a short planning and construction time as well as a sustainable and energy-efficient operation of the building.
Solution

The dwelling cubes created in modules will be evaluated and further optimised after completion of the construction in cooperation with the Technical University of Darmstadt.
